my 2011.
2011 had a lot of craziness going on and i’m sure that 2012 will be no different. Here are some of the highlights of different places I went, things I did, and people I spent time with in 2011. In no particular order:
I joined the Rocktown Rollers.

I visited Ida in NYC.
Moved into a new apartment. We may or may not have pushed my mattress down the street.
Went to Tulls Bay again with the MGL kiddos.
Went to my first Pens game in the Console Energy Center.
Had a Miss America party, my favorite holiday of the year!!!
The little bro graduated from JMU.
Went to a zombie prom.
Visited H-Rob in Rocky Mount & visited Roanoke for the first time.
Went to Maine for my cousin Ian’s wedding.
Started Big Meadow Sessions with Tyler! Here’s our most recent video featuring Jeff Spain Jr.
Played in my first roller derby bout at Season’s Beatings!

I also saw a bunch of really awesome shows including: Katy Perry, Jukebox the Ghost, St. Vincent, City & Colour, Death Cab, Ingrid, Foster the People, and Hellogoodbye.
It was a pretty solid year. Here’s to 2012 being more awesome.
